Behind this façade you'll find extremely selfish, arrogant, narcissistic, manipulative, possessive, cold, and sometimes even sadistic asshole. Cináed is full of himself and feels like he's above all the others – to the point, where he even thinks himself as a god.
He rarely does good deeds just for the benefit of others; he rather appears to be a great person to gain valuation and worship he "deserves".

Cináed does anything he has to go get what he wants. He's not afraid to hurt or kill, as long as he benefits from it somehow and doesn't get in greater trouble. His possessive nature doesn't only affect matter, but people as well. As the good-looking person he is, he has got used to get whoever he wants, however he wants. If not, he'll take them with force. If he doesn't decide to keep someone as his property to the point of getting fed up with them, they're always easy to kill, or blackmail to silence.

Cináed's body is slim and slightly toned. His thigh and back muscles are a bit stronger than rest of his body. Color of his eyes is lilac. He has very dark, low and deep voice.
Fur is mainly dark gray/almost black with a lot lighter, almost white fur on his face, neck, chest, belly, hands, legs, and underside of his tail. He has purple marking on his fur. Hair is long, black, and smooth, usually tied in a loose ponytail.

Cináed's antlers and hoofs look pretty much like they were made of amethyst, except they're a lot harder. In his hands he has claws of predatory bird. His upper fangs are rather long, kinda resembling musk deer's fangs.

On his back Cináed has pair of large wings, covered by dark gray, black, purple, and lilac/white feathers. He can also hide his wings, which still leaves pair of purple, wing-like, tribal-ish tattoos on his back. He has five blue gems inlaid along his spine.

Cináed can also take a form of a human. When doing so, he still prefers to have his horns and wings, but will hide them as well if needed.
In his human form his skin is pale and soft. Face is rather narrow. His cuspids are sharp, but only slightly longer than average human cuspids. Nails are also a bit longer than average human nails.
He still has the purple tattoo on his left shoulder. Wings hidden he also has those wing-like tattoos on his back.

As a mage Cináed prefers to use mainly ranged attacks. In meelee fights against larger or several opponents he takes the form of enormous and destructive shadow wolf. Thick shell of shadow mass surrounding his body protects him from physical as well as most of elemental attacks, making his movements fast but also more clumsy.

At a young age Cináed also got the idea, that his destiny was not to be just a negligible peryton, but to aim higher. Therefore the teenaged deer decided to become marginalized from the others and sanctify all his spare time to the collection of information as well as learning new things and skills. Cináed developed his shadow manipulation skills and learned to take advantage of the weather and to harness the forces of nature for his own purposes, which eventually led, by personal interest, in the ability to make use of lightning and electrical energy.
Too many years boy didn't spend in the adulthood, when he had already decided quite spontaneously to try his wings and kill the chief of the tribe, pursuing their position and authority. As probably can be guessed, things didn't quite turn out as planned. Youngster suffered the loss and was imprisoned in the tribe's prison to think about his actions.

And so Cináed thought. Several years the young peryton spent meditating. A lot of time it took, but eventually he found inner peace and harmony, as well as learned to control his own mind and emotions.
From this an idea arose. The following years in the prison he used for further grinding and dissemination of his skills. His victims were the dungeon's endless lodgers, rodents, whom were soon to take part in their innovative neighbor's mind control exercises. One rat didn't help a lot, of course, and controlling minds of multiple subjects at once had its own challenges. The exercises finally got in use, when in one evening the guard, bringing food to prisoners, got a very "self-imposed" idea: wouldn't it be quite awesome thing, if he opened Cináed's cell's door, broke guarding spells and let this very misunderstood tribesman to stretch his wings?

Among the tribe he didn't happen to be seen ever since. No new tries to claim the tribe for himself - Cináed needed more.
For humans, a sight of the winged deer was surprising and doubtful enough. However, by few strictly measured relationships, the pleasant young man got his hands on the thing he so greatly desired; an information. Over time, the unusual newcomer received the approval from residents of the largish village, but still something important was missing, and it was time.
Cináed had lived fifth (being now, more specifically, around the age of 30) of his kind's normal lifetime, and anything crucial had not been achieved. Books and touring wise men were irreplaceable friends. Cináed divided his soul into five parts, and planted these soul fragments into five gems he had earned by performing some shadow tricks on the village's plaza. Cináed reached immortality – he wanted to keep the gems always with him, and decided to inlay them onto his back. These soulgems also appeared as surprisingly handy utility when Cináed realized, that in them he could store electric energy he had collected and so it would be available even at a time other than during a thunderstorm.

In present day Cináed has made himself widely well-known engineer on both technology and bionic fields.In modern ages, he has become the head of worldwide company advancing and providing electronic devices.
Still nothing inside has changed for the better; Cináed is still the same narcissistic and self-centered, cold asshole hungry for power and knowledge — perfectly adapted for his higher status among the living.
