Too bad it is not a happier 'reading' version of the Kafka story, 'The Hunger Artist', where this time he would put himself on display as he takes in intellectual nourishment. ^^

The sepia hues blend beautifully with the man's complexion, and especially the color of his hair adds to the strength of this composition. Β A beautiful blend in a well-balanced photo. Β I wish I had taken this picture. Β Also, thank you so much for adding my "Abby" to your favourites. Β

I like how this image creates that quiet feeling some people like when they need time to study and ponder over their favorite books.

Perhaps physically ... but his mind can be free anywhere.Β Beautiful contrast between white and black. The column gives an elegant touch.Β

true statements Mayumi. The issue is that when visiting this new book-shop in Bucharest that has a very fancy design and is located in a completely refurbished old building (perhaps from the XIX-th century), I couldn't avoid the association created by the metal bars leading to a cage ... so actually this is the mere (minimalistic) aspect I selected to present this time.
Thxx for you comment my dear friend ... Β
