Description
This is a tutorial for lightening the color of a wig. It's only semi permanent, so if you wash your wig some of the color are going to wash out. But it looks great though!! xD And I haven't heard of anyone else that has been able to lighten the color of a wig, so this is revolutionary !! haha, just kidding! I hope you find it useful. Can you use product on the wig or will it strip the paint?

Hairspray works just fine. I don't know if it can take heavy styling like spikes and such, but I'll try it out and tell you how it works out!

That would be awesome. I'm really curious about this. Also, what brand was the base wig (or what kind of fiber)?

I don't know the brand, it's a cheap wig I got from ebay, but the fiber is kanekalon!

You could always try to style it first and then paint it so the product doesn't strip it. Once the product dries it shouldn't be a problem at all!

oh its paint~ i saw u talking about this on cosplay.com and thought it was striping color from the wig but painting might work. was the crown area of the wig hard after the paint set?

oh, sorry for the misunderstanding : o
It's not actually paint, but markers. And no, the wig fiber does not get hard at all after it has dried!
