Description
The rest of the day at school I daydreamed (more than usual) about the Prom and what I was going to wear.  I walked home and in mid daydream, barged into the gray guy who I had found out was called ‘Abby’. “Hi again!” I whimpered as I began blushing. “Thought I’d bump into you again!” he laughed. “Walk you home?” I nodded and smiled as I began walking on.

“So…are you looking forward to the prom?” I said trying to break the awkward silence.
“Yeah…” he said blushing slightly. I smiled to myself. He smiled at me. When we got home we were greeted by a pack of monkeys on sugar rush A.K.A Wally and his friends. “HEY RIXAIH’S GOT A BOYFRIEND!” shouted one of them out. I quickly said goodbye to  Abby and rushed inside slamming the door shut then repeatedly beating the guys on the heads with a stick while they threw questions at me. “What’s his name?” “Where does he live?” “Who does he live with?” “Is he your boyfriend?” “Are you going to the prom with him?”. As soon as this question got yelled out they all huddled together and moved in closer to me.

“BACK OFF! I HAVE A STICK!” I pointed the stick at them but was clearly blushing like crazy. Wally took note of this and squawked out “RIX HAS A PROM DATE!!!!”. Luckily I was saved by mum who brought out a tray of muffins which were quickly devoured by the boys.
“A Date? Oh that’s lovely! We have to get you a nice new dress!” she said with a slight smile on her face which was rare. I smiled but then dashed upstairs wanting to get away from the havoc.

I threw by bag on my bed and began to daydream. I then fell into a sleep and dreamt of the Prom night. When I woke up I had a green face lurking over me prodding me with a stick. “Rix..” It was Wally. “Does he treat you ok? I don’t want you being with a mean man.” I shot up like someone had just shoved a very pointy object up my ass. “Wally…you care?” He nodded and looked down.
“Of coarse…you’re my sister aren’t you?”  I smiled at Wally and nodded. “Good!” he then walked out and slammed the door leaving me in complete shock….

The next morning was a Saturday so me and mom decided to go to the mall and buy a dress for the prom. Wally stayed home all day unsupervised but we decided to trust him for once. We went to many different stores until I finally found the perfect dress. We bought it and then took it home where I changed into it.

Tomorrow would be the prom….
