Hooray for under-appreciated characters. c:

I'm trying to teach myself to loosen up when it comes to drawing things. I've always loved sketchy art, and I think it's endearing in its own way (sort of like Bido here). But I'm a bit of a perfectionist and I have a hard time leaving my own stuff on the rough side. I usually spend so much time trying to make my lines smooth and perfect, or my shading exactly right, that I often loose interest in a piece before it's anywhere near finished. My "works in progress" folder is a sad sight to behold. Srsly.

So I've found out how relaxing it really feels to just cozy up with an idea and throw down a five minute sketch on a whim. Maybe there will be a lot more like this in the future. : P

In the mean time, three cheers for Bido, who is really quite an adorable character. He deserves more love than he gets.
