Say hello to Alouise! She is one of the two main characters in my comic/manga/thing CIFR -- Courage Inspires Fierce Revolution. Read her story starting with the background information here in Chapter II: [link]

Note on piece: I'm glad I did not give up on coloring this one. Definitely the best I've created so far, even though it's not perfect after 6 years' worth of redesigns. I hope viewers like it as much as I do.

Anyway, here are some fun facts about my OC here, Aly.

-Her full name is Alouise Luziare (lu-SHA-ree).

-She is 25 years old.

-Amazon build at 6 foot 1 inches.

-Actual weight is difficult to determine because of the heavy equipment she carries (boots and gloves, to be explained another day ).

-Mute. Uncertain if there's a good reason for it, or whether she is just too stubborn and refuses to learn how to speak Universal, the language everyone else speaks. Possibly both.

-She is distant, but is fiercely loyal to her allies. Has never been seen smiling.

-Built to dish out and take hits. She considers any "curves" she has as a major nuisance.

-Her eyeliner and eye shadow are actually tattoos.

-Blonde was not her natural hair color. No one is certain what color it originally was. It is progressing towards white due to the constant stress and strain over her body.

-Loves the ladies. Very subtle about it.

-Like most foreigners in the country of Tehn, she is running to escape the Nationalist's conservative revolution sweeping across the country.

Influences: Aly is based off of the Valkyrie Sara Irene from the Korean manhwa Ragnarok: Into the Abyss (a comic series that never got the attention it deserved). I like to think of Aly as a spiritual successor to that character. Also, there's a bit of the model named Teri Harrison in her, which is what I've pictured Aly to look like in real life. Be sure to check both ladies out! :]
