One of the most important moments in ALW's Phantom, in my opinion, is when Christine realises that her fellow actor in Don Juan Triumphant is not--as she had believed--Piangi, but the Phantom. I was asked recently on tumblr to 'explain' Point of No Return, and writing my response reminded me of my feelings about this scene, and I wanted to try to capture some of that in a drawing. I'm pretty happy with the results.

Past the Point of No return is my absolute favorite scene in the play! The set, the costumes, that slow, menacing tempo, and of course the part where Christine realizes that Don Juan isΒ the Phantom... It all makes for a truly epic climax!
