I have no idea how to create themes so sorry if this is offensive at all, I'm sure it takes a lot of work..
I like the appearance of the windows, start bar and notes windows etc. it all looks very vista-like except better.
However I don't like the Eminence logo personally, the E is far too big in my opinion and the blur effect on the end letters looks a bit dodgy. Also the look of the start button when it's down is far too glowy for my liking and the glow around the OK button looks a little ott too, possibly distracting I would imagine.
Other than these little things I think you've done a great job at making a windows desktop look dare I say, nice.

sweet skin, i have one crit though, and thats the glow of the "ok" button. the outter glow and the colour of the button itself dont blend to well. maybe if it had the same effect as the start button on the taskbar, that would do it. just a little suggestion though.

This is really really well done. Don't know how to make a skin like this, but i can imagine it needs lots of time-consuming and fiddly work with little individual pictures, So congrats. It's really cool.

Nice skin dude. Maybe you should upload the wall pack here in DA. A resumable link will get you more downloads from people still on dialup axx.
The skin is nice, thought fonts are BIG on Opera. But hell, this is one hell of a skin. And the walls to mate. I love the walls.

Minor point: with a double taskbar, it looks like the bottom 5-10 pixels are completely transparent, none of that smoky glass effect.

Everything is good except the start menu, I don't like the gray colour and the "Ryan Smith" area is for me to small.

mate..jus want to say i downloaded it str8 and didn't even giv a comment..so i came bak to comment on it..well nice skin first of all...beautiful affects...even tho i prefer themes lik moon flower and dreamland..this i gotta giv P'z to..so good work buddy..and a nice way to bring the 'squaryness' bak..good work

Sorry to bother you but I need some help. I don't know how to install your theme Eminence for Windows Xp.
In the .zip file there is a lot of files but there is not a theme file so how should i install your theme?

The file is already in Windowblinds format. You must have Windowblinds 5 installed on your computer in order to use this skin. If you have it installed, open up Windowblinds Config and click on install new skin (I believe it is in the preview area). A window will pop up and then you will have to browse to the "Eminence.wba" file that you downloaded. Double click on it and it should install.

I enjoy the contrast between the light and dark blue and fail to see any problems within the first 5 minutes that can be attributed to this skin. This is definately a choice in a skin I would use

I am not used to seeing such nice work from people new to skinning. You've clearly thought about what makes a good-looking and useable skin, and paid attention to all those little details that can make a skin a permanent fixture on someone's system. So many skins look good in screenshots, but when it comes to using them, the fonts are too small, the text is too similar to the background, the buttons are hard to see to click on, or the design is just too cumbersome to use. You've avoided all that. I also like that you used transparencies without making anything hard to see. It's a "next-gen" skin without being yet another Vista clone. I'm very impressed, and I look forward to seeing more skins from you.
