A third critic for this photo. I'll repeat the same beautiful comment.
Cold blue backgroud is perfect for winter time effect and it perfectly contrast with the tendre warm red tone of this lovely face. Hair are realy amazing and the blue eyes perfectly fit with the icy blue background.
However, something disturbing me. At the first sight, this photo shouts "It's winter time" but the model is summer dressed and seems not to be cold ! Never mind ... it's a contrast, I love it and it's probably why this photo is striking me and you.
Something else is disturbing me. The snow !! It's not real. Just an edditing snow. Ok the effect is well realized with big and small one. But there isn't snow on the model and no snow between the center of the model and the lens !!
After this critic I want to say that I like this photograph and thus I fav it!!

I'm puzzled. Neither the original piece's comment box nor the category articulates anything about photomanipulation. I now wonder whether this is digital art or photography. In other words: If the critic feels that snowflakes have been edited in the picture, then how can it score that high as a photographic piece? The apparent contradiction disturbs me like hell - with, otherwise, all due respect. In my world it means enough, so that I cannot really evaluate whether the critique is fair or not.

Firstly I want to say that when I opened my deviant and I saw this image I kept looking at it for minutes.
The colors of the background and the skin tones on the model are stunning, I love the blurred snow and the light on the model, makes her look just like a winter angel. I also like her eyes insightful looking to the camera and the blood red on her lips - gives sensuality to the photo. The way she covers herself is delicate just letting one shoulder to the view where the light easy define her collarbone.
There's just one thing that bothers me: the hands. Her face is sensually expressive, and just drags the viewer into the picture, but the hands are not following her face expression, the fingers are not that sensual.

This photo is just beautiful. I love the colors. They are soft yet bright and cheery. I like how the model is posed here, with the snow falling and the blurred background it gives this piece a very dreamy/romantic feel. Her skin seems to have a natural glow to it that really goes well with her golden hair and red lips. I also like the nude colored fabric she is holding, it really helps to add more softness to the overall feel. Honestly i can't find anything about this picture that I don't like. I added it to my fav's as soon as I saw it. Fantastic job my friend!
