This photo is very lovely- I love how you do ( more or less) historically accurate fantasy ( which very few people do, making this all the more special). Albeit I don't really like the helmet designs- they look rather cumbersome, bulky and impractical ( Is there any chance for an edited version?). Over all- great work though.Β

Thanks! I won't be editing this though, I have other projects I'm working on.Β
You'd be surprised, the helmet I used for reference in this wasn't that heavy.Β
The bevor can be lowered to allow a greater field of vision and still protected theΒ
throat. It does look bulky I agree, but they were quite common during the
early 17th century and maybe late 16th century.Β

It's really beautiful, expecially with the dark sky!

Is that ridge with the plume historically accurate?

Nah, but the helmet is based on an early 17th century burgonet. The plume is made up.

Thanks armouries are good for reference. Even buying a standard cuirass and helmet doesn't cost a great deal these days
