Description
This clouded leopard is the most photogenic animal in the San Antonio Zoo. Just about half of my favorite shots are of this animal.EDIT (06-06-05): Slightly altered the colors, fixed the high contrast somewhat. Also, the image is slightly larger (about 100 pixels wider).
Hopefully this will be the last time I have to redo this picture.

Thank you very much. These guys are really a pleasure to photograph, simply because they're so photogenic. This particular shot has earned this guy the name "Baby Face." I took this picture almost a year and a half ago, but the name has stuck through the entire time. It's one of the first great shots I ever took (if I do say so myself), and it's still probably my favorite.

I did take this picture at the zoo. Tracking a clouded leopard down in the wild would unfortunately be way beyond me.

Yeah that would be very sad. Wild animals have a hard time in captivity. I mean they're taken care of but being unable to be in their natural environment has to be difficult. The tiger probably does hold the title for the most endangered cat. but if I'm not mistaken the clouded leapord has a much smaller home range and therefore more elusive. regardless you had a beautiful animal and you took a wonderful shot of him/her.
