Description
This clouded leopard is the most photogenic animal in the San Antonio Zoo. Just about half of my favorite shots are of this animal.EDIT (06-06-05): Slightly altered the colors, fixed the high contrast somewhat. Also, the image is slightly larger (about 100 pixels wider).

Great shot, I just love the expression on his face. I like the border, I like them simple like this.

Thank you. I think this looks pretty nice, but I would like to try using the same border as *guitarjohnny just to see how it would work out. His borders (not to mention the pictures) are very nice.

If you would like to try it, then do it... there are a lot of similiar frames, so just play around
And yes, his pics are gorgeous...

Someday maybe. Right now a print account would go to waste. That's the only picture I have that's really worth it. $25 is a little steep for one picture. But someday when I get a bit better it'll get done.

I do have a file of this picture with a border around it that I'm considering uploading. It's just that I don't particularly like the border... But I'll try it soon. Thanks for everything.

Beautiful shot.
I've never seen anyone capture a baby cat at that sort of angle.
You did a great job. Very nicely shot.

It's actually not a baby. The name "Baby Face Leopard" is just for effect cause it looks so cute. But clouded leopards do almost look like domestic cats. Thanks for the comment.

Well, that's what I get for not reading closer.
I've read about those cats, but it was quite some time ago.
I have a purebred Bengal cat. There 50% domestic and 50% wildcat. The wild gene is from small cats such as clouded leopards.

Thanks for the comment and the +fav. I love taking pictures of this guy. Usually when I go to the zoo I end up taking about half of my pictures at his exhibit. I just can't get enough of him. He's so pretty! And it seems like he poses for sometimes, so I can get the shot just right. Of course, that could just be my imagination...

This is another great shot. I'd like it slightly better if the framing of the shot was more to the right, but I think I see a rock face looming, so prolly not so good either. I very much like the expression in this piece. Crys out for a sad/longing title.

robbobert In reply to swashbuckler [2004-12-04 07:40:57 +0000 UTC]
I agree about the framing, and there aren't any rocks over there, so I could have done it. As for the title... Titles really aren't my strong suit, as may be evident in some of my other pictures. Thank you very much for the comment. I appreciate it.
