Great pic...you have the best cats at your zoo! We just have lions, 2 tigers and 2 cheetahs. Would love to see some jaguars or leopards!

I guess it's true that the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence. We have a lion and a tiger at our zoo, but they're too far away in their enclosures to get even moderately close to with anything less than a huge telephoto lens. I love the jaguar and all of the different leopards at our zoo, but I wish sometimes that I could get decent shots of the more "primary" big cats. Thanks for the comment and the +fav.

Very cool...we don't have any jaguars in the zoos around here (northern CA).

Man, it's a shame. They are so beautiful. It's one of my favorite big cats.

I take them at the local zoo. There are some really great enclosures for photos, this one included, and there are also some bad ones. That's why you'll probably never see any lions in my gallery.

local? ahh, you're lucky, then.
too bad about the lions, though, i bet you'd do just as well with them (any penguins? ooo, that'd be cute. *ahem*)
