Another figure study, the large figure on the left took 20-30 min. Charcoal on Newsprint the whole sheet was 18x24. The drawings on the right are my 1-5 min warm up gesture drawings. I will be posting more with these kind of sketches. where Im focusing on the 3 major forms, the head, torso and pelvis and how they aline and move. Understanding those forms and being able to move them in space is essential to creating figures without reference. Like in the comic work I do.
