Description
One of the jewels of the Australian bush. I enjoyed painting the complex tangle of shed bark at the base of the eucalypt. Spent more time on this painting than any other I've ever done.Prints of this painting are available for purchase here.

What kind of paint did you use? It looks like either oil, or watercolor, but I can't quite tell which! Either way, I love your technique!

It's actually watercolour crazy, however it's painted on smooth board which makes it easier to get sharp edges,
and to lift off some pigment here and there.

Alright. That makes sense. I always have trouble getting the edges with watercolor (I probably use too much water), but it makes sense now that I look at it again. Thank you!
