I've got to say, Robert, I'm extremely impressed. The tree seems so secure in this piece, as though it's completely safe and sound surrounded by it's own person moat.

Of course, my imagination takes the story several steps further...

Why would a tree be growing on it's own, so healthy and vibrant, alone and away from the shore? Perhaps once upon a time, individuals would venture here to rest in the shadow of this majestic tree's branches...

Anyway, those are the thoughts brought to mind by your artwork here. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for your comment mate. Glad to see that my photos get someone's imagination going!

I can see why you are wondering why that tree is out there on it's own and that's probably why it caught my eye. From this angle it looks like it is out of place but when you view this scene from a different angle it blends in somehow. Interesting how that can happen, I might try and make this a regular feature of my work!

You are very welcome, my friend. The imagination is a wonderful device, if only we would use it more often. Mine tends to run wild at times, but life is only more interesting in response.

I'd love to see more shots like that, feel free to give it a try, and I'll be happy to provide feedback!

OOo, i like this one. here's why:
great composition. It's not your best, but you've done a good job with the positioning of things. I like the land in the back.
the colors are great, too! Love the blues and the pinks.
Btw, i thought of you this morning. Theres this great lot with a gorgeous old barn on it, and if you look at it right, you can see through these windows at at the sky (wow did that make any sense? xD)anyways, it looks great with the sunrise. I'm sure you'd be able to get a great photo out of that!

I know this is not the best comp but sometimes you just have to work with what you got!

I'm not going be able to travel anytime soon so it's up to you to get out and shoot it!
