What if?Darkness, absolute,
Infinite space.
The Human Race evolves:
Slowly,
Like the turning of the tides.
Patiently, They watch and listen,
Hoping,
Yearning,
But to no avail.
Obviously, with intelligence,
Did not come wisdom.
For They watch, as mankind
Turns against itself,
Separates its tribes,
Carelessly disregards life.
And in so doing,
Alienates itself,
Becomes dead
And useless,
In the greater scheme of things.
