looked up some stuff for possible names too:
Loligo is the first part of the latin name for the common squid
when I googled 'coral squid' I found the "reef squid", or Sepioteuthis sepioidea. So I guess maybe Sepiot or Epiote or Euthis or Ioidea or any of a number of 6 letter combinations from that.
It's also called the Caribbean Reef Squid, so maybe Caribb? I suppose that's a little close to crab, though.

Or you could forget squids entirely and work with some other element, such as species of coral or names with double Os in them, or words related to having multiple limbs.
