"Shouldn't you find a job, Gisela?" ,she said, "After all, I'm the one who's doing everything for you right now, financially."
"Yeah yeah, I'll go and find one tomorrow. I'm taking a nice glass of wine now.", Gisela replied, hoping her roommate would forget her promise. She didn't know her roommate woke her at nine-ish the next morning to have Gisela go out into the city. She herself went to her own office on the 23rd floor inside the large metropole

Gisela grabbed her bike at eleven and was pedalling towards the city, when she saw a factory. She hadn't seen it before, so she went closer. A note on the window said: "Looking for pat employees", with "pat" having a large strike in it, as if the maker made a spelling mistake.
"Well, this is nice, it's close to home - worth a try. I'm going to meet the owner, I think. She rang the bell and not much later she entered the factory. She shook hands with the owner and walked towards a big room which was strangely decorated, a chair right in the middle of the room. While she entered the room, the owner stayed outside.
"Please take a seat, miss...", he said.
"Arma, Gisela Arma. Please call me Gisela.", she said while taking the seat.
"Welcome, miss Gisela, to the Robot Factory. I'm Dr. Ewicha, it's a pleasure to meet you. I suppose you're here to apply for a job?", the owner asked.
"Why yes I am, sir, how did you know?"
"Educated guess. Anyway, I might have a position as assistant . The pay will be 8 pounds an hour at start, and every second month you will receive an additional 50 pence an hour - so after two months your salary will be 8 pounds and 50 pence, and after four 9 pounds. Should you accept the offer, of course."
Gisela should've noticed something, namely the fact that there was no trial period at all, but in her enthusiasm she forgot to ask Dr. Ewicha about it. Dr Ewicha went on with his process, asking Gisela whether she would start immediately. She agreed.
"Please grab the two handle bars in front of you, miss"
Unknown to his motivation and finding it a strange request, Gisela hesitantly moved her hands to the handle bars and pulled them. She was immediately restrained, because the handle bars attached themselves to her body, at the position of her waist.
"Let me out, you freak!"
"No, Gisela, I won't. You're not an employee, you will be my patient.". Gisela remembered the sign. "Looking for pat...patients!". She should've known. "What are you going to do with me, you maniac!"
"Thank you for the compliment. It's easy for me to tell you what I'm going to do with you as nobody can save you anymore. You will be the world's first human to be turned into a robotic being. You may say goodbye to your old life because your life will be improved. Instead of the stereotype robot, you will be an advanced type - one which is able to learn by experience.
You will be able to furfill your purposes without the need of a remote controller. You will be a self-thinking robot, but this doesn't mean you will have your puny little human thoughts. Prepare to be robotised, unit."

Gisela was speechless due to what she heard. She could only think. "I will be turned into a robot? I fantasised sometimes about it, but to actually become one...the idea turns me on but I know it's not right. Maybe...if I scream loud enough...someone may hear me."
She took a deep breath and screamed: "HELP ME!!!"
