I just need to practice more expressions since I draw comics a lot. When I animate characters as well, I must make them show more facial emotions so that the character doesn't look bland.Sloppy sketches are sloppy.

This was just a little practice so that when I animate again, I'll aim more on facial expression.
One way to improve is to exaggerate the characters face. Like crome in this sketch dump has big eyes in some of the sketches when in reality his eyes are smaller and rounder than that. Some of the mouths can look really difficult and become hard to think about, but in order to place more expression in the character try as many eye shapes, movements, mouths even if some may seem ridiculous, head positions and directions as possible.

He actually gets freaked out a lot. So he probably uses that expression more than he would when expressing sad emotions.

I don't know why, but I just love Expression pages and concept art and things of the like.
What I like about this is that you can tell that these expressions still have that Crome-ness in them, (Which I may say is far from bland! XD) Even the OOC Expression! Even though it is, Crome's probably drunk again for some reason! XD
I guess my favorite would have to Crome hissing on the left!

I think it's because crome has a different looking face compared to most Irkens drawn. Probably why he isn't going to look not like crome xD
It's his forehead I tell you!!!
And his not so big eyes, that are only big when exaggerated.

it took a lot of thinking. There is so many expressions that are a possiblity that it's hard to think of how to draw it
