still a bit stylized but with a more serious tone! I should explore more ideas and such well see.

Police detective Mario Mario working a recent ring of kidnappings with his brother and partner Luigi Mario. A Starman as their badges and their fire arms with a flower engraved on the side. With an oddly extensive knowledge of plumbing..? ionno. XD
I'm sure you have your own ideas though.
I did a pencil sketch based on this design that I hope to show you as soon as I can get near a scanner.

I've seen that colour scheme for that outfit.
