Dude, can you share some of the process? Maybe just in text.
I was just wondering how you gave it the grainy look, especially in the shading. Is it just a matter of brushes? Or textures? OR WHAT?!!

I was planning on doing a small tutorial one day of these! Yes I use brushes with noisy effects and on top of that textures to give everything less homogeneous look.
In photoshop you can create a noisy texture and apply it on a soft brush to get this effect, but I actually recommend using Manga studio since you can make awesome brushes just tweaking the dials and noise effect you get for each stroke is randomised so that's fantastic.
