This is gift art for Mjponso . A dear friend of many years. His character design is an anthro dragon with banknote inspired patterns and textures.

My original intent was to sketch a simple bust to use with some other kind of non-digital media, but I ended up wanting to pursue this digitally to the end as a challenge. This character is more intricate than most, and I wanted to test my skills with attention to detail.
