Wow! I really like your OC, the character reminds me of that tiger cadet Majel B voiced in the animated series. I can't put my finger on her name though! GR! How come you hate Chrissie?

Lol, thank you.
Well I hated her a few years back just because I found her very annoying, but I just recently watched the series again and I don't hate her anymore. I actually find her positively adorable. <3

How can you FUCKING HATE Christine? She's damn adorable.

I'm going to assume that your OC has a relationship with Spock, then? I'd like to know what her race is, because as far as I remember, there were no such humanoid aliens with animalistic features on Trek.

This is fairly well-drawn. I do like how Christine's hair came out.

But Tribble? Really?

She always seemed whiny to me. And just... I dunno, I just didn't like her.

Lol there weren't. I actually have a race of these mutants on their own planet, blah blah basically she's one of them.

I... I don't use my OCs for RPing or fanfics or anything. If I did there's no way she'd be in a relationship with Spock. Just an obsessive fantard.

Bahahah! Tribble's one of my middle names/my nickname IRL. Dad was a huuuge Star Trek dork. The name transferred just because I like it.

Huh. I always thought she was adorable, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

That relieves me. I'm really wary around OCs. I've seen too many my favorite characters get totally destroyed by them in fanfic and such. *Twitch* So far I haven't found *many* really bad ones in Trek, but with the new movie... Damn, I'm scared.

Tribble is your middle name? Fuckin' win.

Eh, while she has the tendancy to be okay, I just really don't like her. -shrug-

Hahah. Oh Lawd, believe me. I hate most people's OCs with a burning passion, I wouldn't write myself into a fanfic even if I wrote them.

Hahah, one of three. You know how Mexicans have like fourteen names and half of them aren't on their birth certificates? Well my dad decided he was going to be special and pull one of those for each of us.
I've been going by it for years.

I know how you feel. I spent enough time lurking on fanfiction.net and - God help me - Shitzilla to have seen enough OCs for a few lifetimes. And I haven't found even a handful of decent ones. It almost makes me happy that this retarded generation isn't very fond of Star Trek; they'd probably reduce it to that Twilight sh*t, and I'd be inclined to throw myself off of a cliff. I don't have a problem with fanfic, but canon/original character fics sets me on edge.

That's kick ass. I'm surprised that my dad didn't name me after something Trek-related, because he used to be damn obsessed. But I have a friend, and I'm pretty sure that he likes her more than me by now, because her last name is Khan. I don't think he'll ever get over that.

Uggghghgh.
Yeah, I don't lurk that site for fear of My Immortal-style fanfics.
Well thanks to the new movie, there's probably going to be a rush of Star Trek TOS newfags rushing in because it's 'cool' now. Unfortunately, I predict lots and lots more canon/oc.

Hahah. Technically he named me after a dog he had that was named Tribble, but that dog was named after the little fluffy things (it was a Pomeranian).
Hahahah. Does he go "KHAAAAAAAN" Whenever you mention her?
I so would.

I love those, though! They make me want to eat my eyes, but damn, they can be funny. And, being a troll!bitch, I can't resist them. Which is probably why I still hang around Shitzilla. It's like a goldmine, but with shitty fanfics and retarded Twitards pretending to be writers. xD

Oh yeah, it's going to be bad. There'll be a new Spock/Uhura fandom as well, because JJ Abrams... well, I don't really know what he thought he was doing there. It was the biggest issue I had with the new movie.

Ah. I'm attempting to harass my parents into letting me get a hedgehog, and I intend to name it Mr. Tribble regardless of gender.

Yeah. He calls her by her first name sometimes, but generally, he knows her as KHAAAAAAAN. I don't blame him, though. That's just something that will never get old.

Hahah. Sometimes they make me laugh, but usually I just get this nauseous feeling, like I'm reading Incontinent Student Bodies or something. D:

Ugh, that made me rage. Just... just rage. Not because I'm a Spock fangirl, but just because it was so wrong. D:

Hahaha, that's awesome. Or you could name it like Baron von Tribble or something.

Yeah I giggled like an idiot when I even thought of someone referring to someone as KHAAAAAAAN, I bet it never gets old.

Lulz! xD That tends to go away after a while, I've found. I find it all too funny. However, there are certain fics that are just so horrible that I can't find amusement. And some of those Shitzilla writers just get their panties in a bunch, and I can only fend off so many fantards at a time. xD

I know how you feel. I'm no Spock fangirl (I love him and all, but I'm no fangirl), but that made me rage as well. I love Spock, and I love Uhura, but not *together*. Putting T'ring into the movie - even in, like, one scene - would have made more sense. As much as I hate T'ring, I'd rather see Spock with her than Uhura. It just... ughhh.

What really scares me is all this talk of putting Khan in the next movie. First, they will NEVER find another actor to play Khan. Second, they'd probably forget to add in McGivers. Despite the HUGE role she plays (without her, we would not have Khan's wrath, people! D, I would not be very surprised if she didn't make it to the move. :\ And, of course, if they put Khan in a movie, he'd get raped by the fantards. They have field days with characters like Khan. I couldn't stand to see my favorite Trek character reduced to their crap.

That'd be awesome. xD If only my mom wasn't terrified of rodents...

It really doesn't. She's so proud of her name, and she has every right. I love Trek-referance names. xD

Sometimes I can lol at them. Like this one hilarious Pyramid Head rape fic. Usually though they just scare me. And fantards take themselves SO seriously. D:

Same here. Although I can't see her being too affectionate towards her, even if he wanted to. If they had gotten the stupid actor to play Spock right (Seriously Nimoy was soooo much better) they would have been all "Um, hi" and stuff. Polite.
Yeah.

I don't want them to make another movie like that. That movie was just... no. Just no. I don't want to see another Khan, that would kill my brain.
Just kill it.

Awhh, really? My mom's fine with them, we had them for years when I lived at home.

I do too. They're awesome.

Natsuki-Seika In reply to RoboTribble [2009-05-29 23:12:48 +0000 UTC]

Pyramid Head rape fic? Dude. xD

I kind of liked Quinto as Spock, but he definately wasn't what I'd hoped for. Uhura and Spock is just no. The only person from the new movie that I really, really liked was Urban as McCoy. He did Bones some justice, IMO. Secretly, I liked the new Sulu better than the original. Sulu always creeped me out. Like, a lot.

I don't think they could do another Khan, unless someone comes out with a Ricardo clone. And I find that unlikely. No one else could play Khan. There isn't another human alive with that chest. xD

I've had a few, but she HATED them. She's completely against me getting a hedgehog, but they're so cute. D: At least I don't bring home snakes and shit like I used to. >>

RoboTribble In reply to Natsuki-Seika [2009-05-29 23:17:41 +0000 UTC]

Oh God it was hilarious. He took off his Pyramid and was Don Knotts underneath.

But but Sulu was awesome BECAUSE he was creepy.
And flagrantly homosexual. Truth be told I haven't been out to see the movie yet, but the snippets I HAVE seen have made me rage.

Yeah, if they make a different Khan we should riot.

My mom was always pretty cool about them. My sister had a snake at one point, we had a couple birds, dogs, cats, rats, mice, gerbils... too many hamsters to count, crabs, lizards, frogs, turtles...
And of course the quintessential fish.

Natsuki-Seika In reply to RoboTribble [2009-05-29 23:58:33 +0000 UTC]

Ohshit. xD

True enough. I remember being freaked out by Star Trek when I was really little because of Sulu. He scared the hell out of me. xD As far as movies go, it was pretty good, but there were just some parts that made us Trekkies flinch. Like Spock and Uhura sucking face in front of Kirk. :\

We fucking should. Ugh, I was so mad at my dad: I was ranting to him about the possibility of a new Khan, and he said that Patrick Stewart would make a good replacement. Maybe it's just me, but seeing Stewart as Khan would just be weird. Stewart is not a Khan; he is a Picard. Dad has too much faith in that man.

My mom hates birds, snakes, cats and rodents. She likes dogs. Everything else is "gross". I had four hamsters (one at a time), and all but one of them died. My dad lost one in the fucking car on the way home from the petstore and I was pissed, one died of some disease, and the other hung itself. I wasn't good with hamsters. ><

I had a cannibal goldfish when I was around four or five. I started out with two, and watched in awe/horror as Goldeen ate Magikarp. D:

RoboTribble In reply to Natsuki-Seika [2009-05-30 01:23:53 +0000 UTC]

Lol. I don't see him as scary, but he does have a "YOU GONNA GET RAPED" sort of face a lot.
I'm just sort of loath to see it because it's so popular with non-Trekkies. It's like... innacurate by a lot, and just... just the sucking face... I... ugh.

Wat.
Patrick Stewart is not Khan. That would be ridiculous.

I'm sorry, but I read that your hamster hung itself and I laughed very very loudly in the middle of work. How did it manage to do that?

Well Goldeen does now Horn Drill.
Magikarp knows Splash, so he was fucked from the get-go.

I was weird as a kid. I could sit and watch two dinosaurs on TV tear a guy in half ("Mommy! Those dinosaurs have good manners! They shared that man!"), but for some reason Sulu scared the crap out of me. Now he's just kind of creepy in an awesome, but still creepy, way. I love his rape-face, though. xD
I know. There are kids at my school who think Star Trek is NEW. Not just the movie, but the entire franchise in general. High school makes me rage, and I'm too damn short to do anything about it.

My dad just needs help. *Shakes head in shame*

Ugh. We had one of those damn cages with two levels to it, and the stupid thing managed to catch it's head between the bars of the floor above it. Not sure how, but he did. I didn't have another hamster after him. ><

Very true. I should have named him Gyarados so it would have seemed like a more even fight. Damn.

Hahahahah. As a kid I actually got some horrible agoraphobia to the point where I was terrified to be outside of my house alone because I thought dinosaurs would eat me, and it went on for like two years. But Sulu is just adorable with his creepiness, I think.

Ugh God what that's retarded. They really think that? That's just I don't know. An argument for abortion.

Awwh, poor hamster. I think we had hamsters that mysteriously died, and a gerbil that died when my sister crushed it against the wall (it died in my hands, that was traumatizing) and I had a couple of rats that died mysteriously one day. D:

Or just have named him Prof. Badass, so maybe he could earn some cool or something.
