I have been remodeling some of the Nightmare King storyline, and now Daisy Prue is involved with the Pedestrian Wolves. If you are uninterested, disregard the wall of text below.

Her mother, Queen Nightingale, is human. When first she came to the Kingdom of Traumerie, she was always to be found wandering the forests and fields, going on all sorts of adventures. In her travels she crossed the Forest of the Nightmare Sphinx, where the Pedestrian Wolves roam. She defeated their matriarch and gained their trust. When Daisy was born, the Nightmare King's daughter and Daisy's half-sister Priscilla swore to destroy Daisy at all costs, and secure her spot on the throne. Nightingale, fearing for her daughter's life, hid the child in the forest of the Waking World, under the watchful eyes of the Pedestrian Wolves and the Nightmare Nursemaid, XhitHo.
