Description
In the wake of the Aurora shooting, it brought back a lot of memories from the NIU shooting. For the rest of college I felt I had to always be vigilant in and had a mental escape plan for each classroom. Now I'll be the same with movie theaters.Related content

Unfortunately yes.
NIU is Northern Illinois University (where I went to school) there was a similar situation that happened there about 4 1/2 years ago.

My folks were very adamant about wanting to watch every part of the news covering it. I had to walk away from that, because like you said, it brought a lot of NIU memories back.
