Personality: Very cold and dispassionate, she seems even snotty to others. She won’t talk unless spoken too, usually keeping to herself. If people don’t understand she wants her privacy, she’ll make sure they learn. Doesn’t take shit from everyone, she’ll probably be meaner than she needs to be to get people to leave her alone.

Talents: She’s very good with languages, having sailed all over to different places to learn them. Has a good memory and can recite what she’s heard almost perfectly pfft. Is somewhat skilled with a knife, but will usually escape when it gets to that. is good in bed. professionally

Background: Anna lived with her family on a small island. There were several other families, and they were all pretty peaceful except minor disputes here and there. One such dispute was when Anna became the right age to get married. She was promised to a man she didn’t know, and insisted on not trying to get to know him. She argued with her parents and his, but as tired as she was of it all she couldn’t leave her home.
Then, pirates plundered her village as if it was a twisted answer to her prayers. Most were killed, and Anna was taken on the ship, along with 2 other girls from the village. Life was very unpleasant for her then, and it was then that she built the iron proof shell around herself.
The captain took a liking to her, and kept her on his ship even after the other were let go. She didn’t care at this point, and several years on the ship with him got her used to the harsh life, even enjoying it compared the boring one she once had on the island.
When Anna turned 21, a horrible storm took the ship. She managed to cling to one floating part of it, and found herself on the shores of Tarqua. Deep down she had realized she had wanted this, even if she told herself she liked the life on her captor’s ship.
She joined the merchant guild to continue sailing the seas, the ocean being only place she now felt at peace.
