Description
I've been a fan of the humorously macabre work of cartoonist Richard Sala for some time now, as well as his two recurring characters, foul-mouthed sleuth Judy Drood and unflappable waif Peculia. Although they've both been featured in a number of Sala's comics, to the best of my knowledge, somewhat surprisingly, he's never done any sort of crossover between the two, so this is my imagining of what such a team-up might look like. The stock photography of was an invaluable asset in the production of this piece.

Can we see Phoebe the masked burglar ? She was my favorite Sala character. Mostly for the costume and mask

She was from The Chuckling Whatsit, right? I haven't gotten around to reading that one yet. I do like girls in masks, though...

Yes, Chuckling Whatsit" is on my recommended list. "Cat Burglar Black" was a bit of a letdown. Loved the art but the story was too predictable.

Ahhh! I love this! You should have added Ambrose in the background, ready with a cannon. xD

I'm sure he'll show up at the last second if things get too hairy.

If I were a zombie, I think I'd leave these two alone. Sometimes you just gotta know when to run for it.
