lol! thankyou i am so glad you like it and thankyou for the favorite on this.
i woudln't know wher to begin i think witha tutorial - a lot of waht i do is trail and error - but if i get chance to take time nad pick an image and screen shot it stage by stage - mightwell have a go lol! - in truth anyone can do it - just a matter of patience and practice really - as with this piece its taken 2 hours to complete lol - a lot of folks want things done really quick - sometime sthey can be - but other times they take that time and are a long winded process. a lot of my abstracts can get mistook for fractals - but they are not ( with the exeption of some fo the colaboration images - they are edited fractals) but essentially i piece my abtracts togther bit by bit usually repating the same shape over nad over in different sizes

any time, your work is really amazing, you should try and get a gallery exhibit for them, i have no doubt it would be fabulous =3

lol! * blushes* thankyou for the compliments - at presnet a lot of them are just saved to memory sticks and discs as i've to to reinstall my A3 size printer on my computer likewise get some ink cartridges for it - and go from there if i print out A4 or A3 size then plan to get some of the better pieces enlarged some more poster size if the detail proves good enough and go from there.
dunno about ina gallery though my work has only ever been on display in a gallery enviroment for my end of year show at college ( my scrapcat pieces) and my degree show at university - which didn't do to well as i was dictated to as to which work i ought put on display opposed to the work i wanted to show - thusly my work was somewaht overshadowed by work either side of it that was far brighter etc..etc...
i was invited to submit work to an Alumini exhibition at the university where i studied previous, however when it came to making the choices on work a friend let me down with helping chooisng and such so i missed the submission dedline.
i'm glad my work is an inspiration - thats what its there for!
i assisted a friedn fo miena t college with a sketchbook once with ideas thinking 'outside the box' for a fashion project. the sketchbook in turnbecame inspiration for the class and i got asked to goin and talk about the styles i used t create work lol
essentially i create art first and formost because i have always loved to draw and i liek to do it and secondly in turn to be viewed and inspire other people.
so i'm very pleased that you found some inspiration here and i hope your college project goes really well

whoa XD my mam just broke our printer.. so no hope of printing anything lol
hmm... you should always show work you want too, dictated work never really gets the response yoo hope for. Believe me I've seen a lot worse things in galleries than yoor absolutley fabulous art (I dunno if the way i worded that sounds like a compliment or offensive... but it is meant to be a compliment 3
Uou should try put in for an gallery openings, put together a load of work and let them choose from your selection =3 you might be surprised
that's waht art is about, loving to create something =3 thanks i hope my project goes well too XD

I get it now..I see why your works see so different than mine. You've usually got a half a billion layers, when most of mine only have 4 or less.*shrugs* Oh well, I just have to be more patient. to the Deviation. I really like the bat's details, and most of it does look like it was draw on a chalkboard.

rockgem In reply to KuBo88 [2008-09-26 09:34:12 +0000 UTC]
lol! some of my simpler pieces only have about 4 layers - though each one of those can be constructed from 3 to 12 pieces lol - it depends on the piece i work with - oncei have created a layer with an abstract i usually repeat the layer to create the patterns - with pieces like this most of the time each shape is a different layer - and thus it depends on how much detail i put in and how well each of the abstract pieces fits the shapes i want its a completx process attiems but theresults are worth it
