I don't hate the Ruby Spears style, but I'll admit that I personally don't feel that I draw it all that well. I need to practice on it, but I've always been better at drawing anime style. So here we have Roll, Plum, Tempo, and Kalinka drawn in an 80s-90s anime style as to be honest, I think that the cartoon was sort of an attempt to create an anime, as Mega Man Abridged once said, "different countries: same results". Kinda makes me what to do the boys in this style now.Megaman (c) of Capcom

Thanks! Ruby Spears is kinda a hybrid between American and anime so which features to make big or exaggerate (eyes for example) can be a little tricky.

Though I don't think it got much of anywhere in Japan, being that they are aware of the American fan-base over here and that the show was possible the first introduction to the franchise (I know I wanted to see it SO badly when I first saw the commercials for it) and that it's a popular subject for fan fiction/fan art, maybe it might get more recognition.

Truth be told, I kinda have a little fan fiction based on the Ruby Spears universe so I guess I'm not the only one who's getting into it now.

I'd say you do a very great job at adapting non ruby spears characters into the design. I myself don't have that in me.
On a sorta unrelated note, how do you imagine Quake Woman's voice? My sister and I can't agree on how it sounds.

Thanks! It's not too difficult actually, it just has to have some differences yet still be able to be recognizable.
That's a good question. Though it may be nostalgia talking, I'd probably say maybe Susan Roman for Tempo as she's a little wild and playful compared to the other female characters in the comics, but that's just me.
