But what becomes apparent quite quickly is that the art might not be based on Public Domain art, it’s apparent that some of these databases are using art they have not asked permission to use. With enough randomness in the algorithm it can appear to be original, but look hard and you will see the traces. The worst part is that these servers takes payments for you to generate the image that is based on something they don’t own and then those people take take the output and try to sell it again.
