as much as i reaallly wanna do this one ... we still have the new movie coming next year .. and .. well ... hell we dont even have concept art yet, he might not even look like this!this is part of that Kaiju Ask Blog thing that i told you guys about, you s ubmit an idea for how Godzilla would be a potential hero or influence in another feature film, and i'll draw it out in a not-too-serious, and maybe even silly depiction of the King in situations where he doesnt even belong
some might be epic, some will be downright weird, but its all in good fun, so submit your ideas by going to my tumblr at roflo-felorez.tumblr.com/ or leave a comment in the Kaiju Ask Blog journal, or maybe even leave a comment below with your idea (and maybe a few thoughts on this piece as well, i can only improve by knowing what works for you all)

I know I'm late, but that Gamera 2015 “trailer” never was meant to be one. It was simply ment to be a short film to celebrate Gamera's 50th birthday and a proof of concept for a future feature-length reboot.

Yeah, apparently, the animated short was supposed to be a trailer for a Gamera 2016 film but due to some trouble behind the scenes, the movie went nowhere.

You know Godzilla and Gamera have surprisingly lots of thing in common:
-They both were awakened by a nuclear bomb
-They both started out in black and white
-They both started out as villains but turned into heroes
-They both blew up (Though Godzilla was gonna if it wasn't for the humans)
-They both had an offspring
The only difference I can see is that Gamera has a strange bond with human children

yeah actually in the early days of kaiju films, a lot of monsters were made as copied versions of Godzilla, and Gamera was probably one of the most successful studio rivals to Godzilla himself, which explains why there are so many similarities

The Trailer has LANDED!!!
Straight outta NYCC: Trailer for new Gamera film!Although there's still not much information available on the Internet about the new Gamera film, it seems like a trailer is not the most correct term for what was yesterday revealed at New York Comic Con by director Katsuhito Ishii. It's more of a presentation of the production company, showing what they're planning to do with Gamera in terms of CGI.
But for one thing we are sure: a new Gamera film is on the works! The kaiju turtle joins now Godzilla and Ultraman, which will also soon return to the silver screen on Japan. Remember that another Godzilla and Pacific Rim films are also planned to come out of Hollywood in the next years.
So...is everyone as excited about this as I am?

Have you watched Godzilla vs Gamera death battle ? If so what did you think of it ?

eh it looked too simple and generic, the fight didnt have anything behind it and it kinda just started out of the blue, plus some of the attacks seemed like "hit hit hit, my turn, hit hit hit, your turn"
also i didnt like the way they made Godzilla, the spikes looked kinda awkward and the arms were too big, didn't look right, also there was no reason to fight or any reason why either of them had to win, its just people wanting to see senseless battles just for bragging rights
if it was done for a movie with a plot and deep reasons behind the fight id be more invested

Well the Godzilla they used in that battle was the Godzilla from GMK (2001)

not entirely .. the one from GMK looked better tbh, the model from Death Battle looked like they stretched a few things out and messed it up, if they had kept it looking exactly like GMK i would have liked it

Did you know that Godzilla in GMK was actually possessed by the spirits of the soldiers that died in World War 2 ?
This explains why Godzilla has a grudge against Japan.
This also means that Godzilla is American since most of the soldiers that died were American.

well he has a grudge against humanity, he just happens to live in Japan
ever since WWII he's always hated humans regardless of where he goes, but i doubt he can identify people by Japanese or American

Yep, Full legit. A SLENDERMAN movie. Two actually, One coming and one out.( The ones that out now -> www.imdb.com/title/tt2737926/?… This ones only in the phillipines, [Insert racist comment here] keeping slender away from us!) And the others due out sometime this year! Looking forward to 'em. Slendy is my favourite Creepypasta.
