Description
Aware was mainly completed over an intense creative period over two days, with minor detail added in occasionally over a two week period. For me this artwork represents the unconscious Dragon Power of intention and awareness in the direct moment with realisation of death as the adviser. Aware was an automatic drawing experience, it just flowed where it wanted and a dragon formed. Also other animals formed that i hadn't discovered. People have for instance, noticed an undiscovered parrot when the image is turned sideways.Metallic Ink and felts on paper
Dimension - 12 x 17 In.
I had this one professionally scanned and printed as a 1 of 1 limited edition Giclee Canvas Print (AO size - 841mm x 1189mm)
and exhibited it in Los Angeles at the 3 day 'ThirdEyeGathering' event.

Im a little distracted with that white square. Doesn't quite fit in. Maybe somekind of dimenstion could give a bunch to this work, but it's nice this way too.

First of all, this is really a really cool painting. I have recently tried a lot of automatic drawing myself and have fallen in love with the idea. It's great how so many of the forms in the drawing are sort of repeated in sets of three, everything is reflected somewhere else in the painting.
I have had great luck with cross-hatching and building 3d forms with a sort of automatic process. I would definitely recomend trying it out.

This peice is truely an experience. I could delve into this thing for hours. I would pay any price to have been in your head when this thing was created. A journey of the mind.
Well Done.

the white square... yess... i enjoy how neetly unneet this is. I also like the colors I think they all compliment each other well, orange was a great choice for those smaller areas.

This is...fantastic...
The longer I stare at it the more different shapes and figures I see. So far several different types of odd birds, many small and bigger dragons and a few insects here and there!
Awsome work. Going to my favourites
