Broken: To be fractured into pieces.
When we feel broken, we often think we just need to be put back together how we were before and then the pain and feeling of being incomplete will go away. After all, the pieces once fit, didn't they?
But we were never complete. There is no perfect state to return us to because we were always imperfect.
We are being broken every day, in little ways, in big ways. Peices of who we were fall away, replaced with pieces of who we've become.
We are a work in progress. The challenges we face teach us and change us. We learn, grow and expand beyond what we could have held before we broke. We are more.
So, learn to see the breaking not as an ending, but as a transition toward a new beginning. Learn to accept the lessons of the past without being bound to it.
And, most of all, learn to see yourself not as broken at all, but as an unfinished puzzle, made more complete with time, not less.
Be more.

This I can relate to on a personal scale. I've developed quite a knack when it comes to puzzles, and puzzle analogies. Puzzles I believe are one of the inherent meanings to my own life, and perhaps the my purpose, to solve some of life's greatest.
I've always viewed my life as a puzzle of sorts, and every step I take adds another piece to an incomplete picture that will only begin to make sense as I continue to walk the chosen path laid before me.

What was it and what did it say?

I was working the register and a woman comes in who was a Christian. She was telling me about the message of the cross and her church. I shared that I was baptized and she had told me it was not deeds but faith. She gave me a pamphlet on the way to be saved and told me about the church she goes to. It's hard to say but it feels like it might be a sign from God. That He sent her to me. To tell me to trust Him and He'll heal my troubles. To remind me of the message of the cross even

Yeah... maybe God sent her to give me hope and to set my eyes on Him. Or maybe He says that He'll answer my prayers soon
