this is a really sweet painting. It looks like someones receiving wings One thing bothers me which is the fact that the wings look further back. I think they'd look closer if they had more light like the body
But seriously this is awesome

she's a character in an anime movie, Shoujo Kakumei Utena, they have the same pose: naked and with wings, that's why I'm reminded of this pic

Very stark. Almost childish...possibly child-like. Good job with the orange.

oh those wings are lovely!
the feeling i get from this pic is like the figure has been going through a tough time (from the posture and the hidden face) but something wonderful is about to happen to them that is literally going to lift them up... i say it is yet to happen because the wings are not touching the body but they seem to be about to settle on the persons back
i might be completely loony but that's what i get from it you've done a wonderful job especially for a spontaneous piece

Very nice work. I get the spontenaity just from looking at it. A nice change in style for you. How did you like working like that?

hi man ! umm Im in two minds about the spontanaety, but it was interesting to work that way, I alway draw my paintings on large pieces of paper and measure up all the distances then transfer that on to canvas, and its a very rigid way of working but it produces decent results, the spontaneous thing is really quite different, I gottra cope with mistakes on the flyt and generally have to be more relaxed with the way things turn out. which has its own merits, Im gonna do more of it, cant tell if its me yet or not

Cool. From my limited experience with acrylics it seems like you do end up living with or covering up things that you didn't intend. With oils it's so much more organic and fluid; You're contantly pushing things around, changing the tones and colors. It's a different way of working.

I like it a lot rolf, even thou it's not the style I normally like.
It's somehow alien, or ethereal, which makes it quite intersting for me. Could either be the guy experiencing enlightenment, or the guy being some supernatural character himself. Or something completely different
Quite atmospherical piece!
