Heh, I've always loved the painted look to a picture and so I thought maybe if I didn't add the lineart, it would give off that same look to it. 
XDD It was incredibly simple. I just stacked random items high enough so that the camera was able to get the drawing into shot. I don't have a camera stand or anything like that. ;u;
