Here are two works inspired by the anime Samurai Champloo. I was mainly inspired by the character Mugen for these 2 pieces. In this one I tried to express the atmosphere of the episodes Misguided Mecreants.Here is the other work : [link]

C'est tellement Γ©trange-- je viens de regarder Γ Samurai Champloo aujourd'hui, et ensuite je trouve ce bijou! Une surprise merveilleuse.
J'adore le sentiment dans le pièce, et depuis le moment que j'ai posé les yeux sur il, je ne peux penser à n'importe qui d'autre que Mugen. Les couleurs sont aussi fantastiques.

Another lovely picture. The only thing that I find a little distracting is the long winding stroke... but overall this is a well done piece and I love the details of the subject's clothing.

I love this. The earthy tones and the sea go together surprisingly well. It's just wonderful how you used the brush strokes to symbolize the wind blowing. One problem is that the black spots to the right of the figure look a little out of place. Also, the placement figure's feet leave me wondering whether it's floating or that was just your error. But that's not even a bad thing, it's just I had to fill out this critique somehow. Overall, it's fantastic, faved.

Besides, regarding his head and the way he seems to be just painted, I think the real error would have been to make the feet too realistic.
