Skyward Sword Link's face is a nightmare. Serious, celebrity plastic surgery gone wrong. The good thing about being Link is you don't have to look at your own face in game much. His outfit and color scheme are awesome though, my favorite version to date.I'll always envision Link with a prominent nose of some sort, since Ocarina was my first Zelda game. It was great to finally see a non-villain with a nose like mine
I'm also a fan of dark brown-haired Link in addition to this chestnut hair, but I think I'm in the minority?Quick thing to test Sai inking and the new Yiynova tablet ~Spatty and I got ourselves. Pretty nice so far!

So, I donno but this is a pretty catchy face of Zelda I've ever seen!, even when I saw it's tumbnail in my deviantWatch messages. he looks kinda cute!
and 3 days ago it was raining here and I wanted to draw some faces on the cold misty glass, and I reminded of this picture of yours then and how you drew his nose

Glad you like the way I drew his face! What's funny is I'd favor a Link who's designed with a more cartoony and masculine face, but with every game they seem to be doing the opposite! (more realistic and feminine/anime face) And that's super cool that you thought about my art beyond just the website! Thanks!

ofcourse I do! you always draw in a different way .. I mean, most of a fandom's fanart faces (like anime faces you said xD), forms, etc. look like each other alittle, but yours is different yet awesome!
and yeah, I donno why I remember your pics sometimes. once I even drew a boy in your style on the window of the bus taking me home, and I don't know, I didn't turn back to see who was watching me draw (omg too shy to do that! XD) but atleast I can say my mom saw that and smiled..

I'm glad you appreciate the different shapes and forms I give to the faces I draw! Clone faces are one of my pet peeves, so I really try to put personal flair into characters, even if they are originally anime characters

Won't deny that SS Link's face it's somewhat odd, but as you said you don't look at his face that much! I guess since the game tries to mix the serious twilight princess with the cartoony wind waker!
By the way dig the colors you choose, makes me remember of retro Link colors, no no that inexcuuuuuusable one!

I can see what they were trying for, cuz sometimes his face looks nice, I think they overworked his nose and lips though... I think that's my main gripe with his face haha.

I'm really perplexed at the way they rendered his nose and eyes... I can handle the total babyish anime face-shape, but that Michael Jackson nose and those bizarre lips are too much
Haha yeah, I realized the similarity in face shape to Kettleson as I drew, I was too lazy to stop and go a different direction

Hm, I don't mind them that much actually... maybe cuz I'm used to his dagger eyelashes from Ocarina
To be honest, Zelda's face in this game really creeps me out too. In some camera shots, they both look nice, so I can see what they were going for, but most of the time they look so awkward and creepy... I feel like they overworked the faces.
