It's hard to believe that 3 years ago tomorrow, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate was released for Nintendo Switch. Only 4 years ago, it seemed like a fantasy, getting another Smash game, let alone so soon after Sm4sh. And yet, here we are. It's been a roller coaster ride, with a lot of surprises and a lot of celebrations. And while there are certain things I wish were different about it, I'm still really happy with the end result. There's a reason it's my most-played Switch game.
To celebrate, I decided to draw my 4 favorite characters in the game. Throughout the years I've been playing the game, there are 4 characters whom I've always enjoyed playing as: Rosalina (and Luma), Simon Belmont, Pit, and Palutena. I imagine, due to their similar values, that the four would be close friends. As such, the four are sharing some wine on a sunny afternoon. Simon's feeling quite happy and has decided to raise a glass to celebrate the friendships he's made since joining Smash. The other three are more than eager to return his joy.
