Description
In my Mom's garden, one plant that seems to return every year is her pumpkin vine. It's been growing every summer and autumn for as long as I can remember. And even though the squirrels sometimes get to the fruit before she does, I know she still appreciates growing them.
Since Beta is a sentient pumpkin, I thought it would be cute for him to stumble upon some young pumpkins. Even though he's sapient, he and his people still reproduce and originate the way other fruits and vegetables do. As such, he's trying to be cautious around a vine with small, green pumpkins on it. For all he knows, these pumpkins could be relatives.
