Description Again, Sena with her eyes. I just love them, and I love her, she's truely a gentle and sweet dog, completely nonobstrusive. She likes affection and belly rubs (does the old foot thump action when you hit the right spot) and she'll just quietly follow you around wherever you go. But she'll still sound an alarm if a car is approaching and she can be as playful as any of the other dogs.

She's got such big ears. Make her look even more adorable. Dunno why, but she kind of looks sad in this shot. *pets*

I've decided that when I get a German Shepherd, I'm going to name her in German, and teach her tricks/discipline in German, so just in case someone tries to attack me (hopefully they won't speak German), I'll be able to sick her on the bad guys unless I'm unable to shred them apart with my bare paws.

I've often considered teaching a dog in another language, I have the benefit of knowing Polish so that works out well for me (unless one of the many Polish speaking people I know decide to jump me...) But I have the distinct impression that German Shepherds in particular are very loyal as well as intuitive, if you're ever in a position like that (God forbid!), the dog will probably sense you are in danger and act of its own accord, they are pack animals after all right? I've seen a lot of dogs that listen to only basic commands like "sit" or "come here" from strangers, but the more complicated ones they'll only do for their owners/family members, its a matter of trust and respect.
