Burr walked quietly home through the dark.... He had just bought a small place on the outskirts of Wynsiph near the forest...It was a place that took about a year and half of Alma's allowances to save up for... He had done a few chores in the nook to earn a little extra as well....
Suddenly the air felt tense... He froze. His neck fluff stood on end.... Suddenly, a female ran down the path. She looked stressed and panicked, tears ran like rivers down her face. He opened his mouth to ask her what troubled her. She made eye contact and shoved a green egg into his arms. Burr coughed and stumbled back. "ma-ma'me!" He yelled. She looked at him with eyes full of fear.
"Please!!Take this child!!! Take it and run!! Keep them safe!!" Her voice was ragged and she constantly looked behind her.
"Ma'me!! May I just ask Wh-"
"GO!!!" She shoved him backwards.
Burr gasped and turned. "You dont even know me!!"
"BUT I KNOW YOU WILL HELP MY CHILD!!!" She screamed and ran into the forest along a path.
Burr blinked and stepped back... He looked at the egg.... He could almost feel the tiny heartbeat...
There was a roar... Burr looked at the way in which the female came from.... He didn't want to find out what it came from so he turned and ran. He ran so fast he almost didn't hear the scream.....
