Amazing! It' s great to see a traditional drawing that is made so well. It shows that good things can be done the traditional way too. Not only with digital arts.

Meat!!!!! any meal that has meat in it and rice
and "dolma": from Wikipedia, you don't need to read it entirely if you're not interested
"Dolma is a family of stuffed vegetable dishes in Turkish cuisine and the cuisines of the former Ottoman Empire and surrounding regions. Perhaps the best-known is the grape-leaf dolma, which is more precisely called sarma. Common vegetables to stuff include courgette, eggplant, tomato and pepper. The stuffing may include meat and rice or only meat. Meat dolma are generally served warm, often with sauce; meatless ones are generally served cold. Both can be eaten along with yoghurt." from Wikipedia, you don't need to read it entirely if you're not interested

also noodle (both Turkish and Chinese) and riceballs
and spaghetti, of course (especially bolonese)

i do not like chicken, actually
you??

I know of Dolma, like I said, I'm in Culinary Arts

Thats really cool. I like most things actually, I just dislike Eggplant (the flavor) and Shrimp/scallops (the texture)

RosyFingeredDawn In reply to AngelicAdonis [2010-07-03 22:15:15 +0000 UTC]

wahaa , yeah, i keep forgetting it sorry

soo glad to see a foreigner knowing dolma, as you can guess it is unexpected for me

do you know any other Turkish or Anatolian meals ?? If you want some information about any of them, i can ask my mom if i lack the knowledge to answer, my mom is a really good cook you know, some details cannot be found in books or on the Internet

i also like Saksuka (pronounced as Shukshooka), another Anatolian meal, but it is preferred to be eaten as a starter, not as maincourse, it is made with fried eggplant and fried green pepper and yoghurt with garlic it is delicious

RAD-Master-Rhett In reply to RosyFingeredDawn [2010-06-26 00:51:08 +0000 UTC]

It's really the most important aspect of art is good lighting, If you didn't have it then everything would be so bland and all the same.
It's actually what I have most difficult doing.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

RosyFingeredDawn In reply to RAD-Master-Rhett [2010-06-26 09:07:14 +0000 UTC]

but i saw your drawings and you can soon be very good if you keep up practicing as you have talent
don't worry, it is not as difficult as it seems, i recommend you to practice it in charcoal first, then you should practice with colours as colours makes it a bit more complicated
