Description
Tri-functional Weapons, Experimentation and Research Platform, Chernobog was a neo space-age research frame created in Russia circa 2060. He was deactivated when Roscosmos feared he might turn hostile against humanity due to his more prickly nature, but when Dr. Dyatlov discovered him and saw value in his perspective, as well as a chance to redeem some of his own mistakes as an inventor and software engineer, he reactivated the frame and brought him along as he fled Russia's Providence RnD division to defect to the early resistance in the late 2080's

Cherno carries out the (sometimes questionable) will of his re-creator with Unquestionable loyalty - he's just a bit of a jerk about doing it. Dyatlov has a strange kinship with the machine, almost brotherly; and the two's personalities complement each other well. Cherno's nature came from his disappointment in humanities lack of cooperation which ultimately prevented him from fulfilling his purpose in exploring the stars, but he's found another more tenuous role in fighting the private military that seeds such division for political gain.
