Weaponized wings and word play, Oh My!

James Caldwell is the younger half-brother of Florence Caldwell, a Capricorn. Though the two share a mother, they could not be more different. While Florence is neurotic and somewhat obsessed with perfection, Jay is a free spirit who cares very little what others think of him. He spends his free time trying to escape the reality of being ostracized for his hybrid traits. He leaps and soars high above the streets of San Francisco with his best friend, Patch. He is quick witted and loud-mouthed and loves to take the piss out of any situation, no matter how dangerous.

Jay is incredibly light and possess a high metabolism, good for him as he loves junk-food. His talons can scratch steel and crush rock with some effort. Jay's greatest weapons are his wings, whose feathers can harden into an incredibly strong and sharp material on reflex. Even if broken they regrow with relative speed which is useful as he is also capable of flinging these sharp feathers with the accuracy of a knife thrower.

Pit against his sister in sparring sessions by his uncle Adrian, Jay is unable to explore the potential of his otherwise lethal abilities and with his sister being physically stronger than him, he has trained in both grappling and avoidance based hand-to-hand.
