Description
Patrick Phillips is an 18 year old high school student living in San Francisco California. He is an individual of exceptional intelligence for his age and is frequently bored by school, save for a cryptid zoology class he attends with two friends. This class leads him to an internship with the god of the forge, Hephaestus a former colleague of his deceased father who goes on to mentor him.He lost his right arm the same day he lost his father from a massive explosion that occurred while the two where touring a specialized laboratory. While coping with his dad's death, Patrick, or "Patch" as he goes by insisted on rebuilding his own arm rather than a general issue cyborg replacement. With one hand larger than the other, his attempts to invent new creations sometimes go south, though he has an arsenal of foolishly profound builds akin to the likes of This guy...
Patch spends his afternoons embarking on dangerous parkour adventures and hi-jinks with his best friend, a harpy named Jay Caldwell. He is a massive geek for stories about superheroes and villains.

I love this guy, he's kind of my hawkeye if you will. Its a world of gods magic and monsters and he's just a kid with a robot arm, but he makes it work! thanks!

I dunno if he'd count as a "Badass Normal" type character since having cybernetic enhancements I think counts as an ability, but still that's awesome.
I see him having a "Bionic Commando" type fighting style.

Maybe in the late game, but towards the beginning he's pretty much an enhanced nerd with a grappling hook and little to no fighting ability
