Description
This was the result of me goofing around with one of my writing exercises and it morphed into something I really enjoyed so I thought I'd share it.The title of the ObMod is a hint to what this exchange was originally based on.

To be fair, considering the time period Alan grew up in, his secret (if I'm reading this right, and knowing me I'm not) makes sense to keep, as does her mother's secret mental illnesses. Of course it all looks horrible in hindsight, because it is, but it's important to remember that we all keep secrets for a reason. At the same time, though, it's easy to sympathise with Jade and her frustrations here because those secrets messed up her life.
