Description
This one is was from my art book, but I broke it down into layers and added some colors for the version for UpYourArt [link] There are a few other versions that I included in the file for this one. It should be available sometime in the near future if I worked out the layers for this one correctly.UYA has reduced the prices on tubes so if you might have an interest in creating some personal tags, now would be a great time to stop by and check out the web site.

She may as well be topless and mostly naked...what good would armor be against THAT!? She may as well look her hottest while fighting against overwhelming odds!

This reminds me of what I've heard about some old-ish RPG (can't remember if it was a tabletop game or a video game) where the less armor a female character was wearing, the more protection she would receive from little clothing she was wearing. lol
Also, this makes me think of the illustrations Todd Lockwood did of the Mimix race (pseudo-aboriginal matriarchal warrior/hunter-gatherer society) for the Blue Moon card game. To me, the image of a woman wearing nothing but a few thongs (in the original sense of the word) of leather and attacking you with a one-handed axe is more terrifying than the image of a plate-armored, broadsword-wielding man, since the barely-clad and lightly-armed woman has to show more courage and may well be more vicious in attacking.

The RPG spoof game, "Macho Women With Guns," had a skill called "Looks good in armor." The more points in that skill a character had, the less armor she needed to retain her armor rating. That may be the RPG reference you're thinking of.
MWWG was a spoof, and not to be taken seriously, but it was a riot to read.

True enough. Bet Conan doesn't have to worry about his big boobs wearing him down, though!

dragons love female humans, those could totally be used as a weapon to distract the dragon. also conan's loin cloth doesn't actually provide him with enough support to be fighting either. So lets just chalk it up to make believe and say thatβs that lol

To be fair, in those circumstances clothing would be up in smoke in seconds anyway, and metal armor would do more harm than good after it was heated enough to be painfully hot, or worse, partially melted.
You're not going to tank a burst of fire from a Dragon no matter what you wear.

Absolutely beautiful! I guess all you really need when fighting an evil dragon is a sword, some bracelets, and a flimsy loincloth...

Wow, nice work! Excellent colouring and shading (the metal bracer is particularly well shaded!), and excellent detailing and texturing on the rock surfaces.
