Honestly, Frisk is a tough kid. I'd probably be huddled up in a corner and crying the whole time. Frisk really keeps it cool with there "-_-" expression too.I'm really happy with how gender-neutral this icon came out as.

No, just the same sort of bouncing style like the Toriel one. The old Frisk one looks too bland and outdated XD; Different from the Toriel one. I think in your own style it'd look adorable. Not so closely resembling the game sprite.
