lol i wouldnt mind telling ya how i did....it was like 4 years ago XD. i just drew out a simple, chubby flame shape that would be easy to sew and for each color layer i cut down the original flame pattern. with the eyes and everything the front is 5 layers. just kinda eye ball it...hes simply only 2 sided, nothing fancy^w^. his arms are just one pipecleaner them sewn shut^^ hope it helps, hes pretty much just winging it^w^ o and hes just made out of cheapo felt....sos you can make an army of cute plushness

lol thank ya!^^ i started with cutting out the red (using paper to trace/pattern), then cutting out the orange smaller from the same pattern, then the yellow^^ the back is just red, and the eyes are the last layer. when sewing the sides, slip in a pipecleaner though it for arms. its pretty simple just 2 sides^^ i used cheap felt, have fun!

There was actually a scene in the movie where Calcifer made that face xD It was kinda like when Howl was cooking, Calcifer was chewing on eggshells, and for like a single frame, he made the cat face xD It was cute.
